 How long is HHF beef aged?

SPECIAL AGING:

All HHF beef is naturally aged 14 -21 days to allow it to reach its peak of perfection. Under closely controlled quality conditions, the meat's own enzymes are allowed to break down naturally, producing the most tender beef. This along with a close trim, extra lean ground beef, and our 100% guarantee, assures you of maximum satisfaction.

 How does HHF seal its packages?

SPECIAL WRAPPING

Beef, pork, poultry, fish, seafood, and homemade sausages are vacuum sealed in clear, heavy duty see-through packaging, allowing your product to stay fresh longer in your freezer. This is the finest state of the art packaging available in the marketplace today. The transparency of our unique packaging allows you to recognize the product by sight - no more unwrapping and rewrapping because you guessed wrong.

 How are the products frozen?

SPECIAL FREEZING

Blast freezing, the most modern freezing method available today, takes minutes at approximately -100 chill factor. This method locks in juices, producing more succulent steaks, roasts, and chops, keeping in nutrients and vitamins that might escape in normal retail distribution channels.

 What USDA grade is your beef?

USDA INSPECTED/GRADED BEEF

Inspection is mandatory and used solely to ensure wholesomeness. All beef sold in stores is inspected by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. Beef grading, on the other hand, is voluntary and is used to identify beef quality. Packers may contract with the USDA to grade beef for quality. Quality grades are determined by an animals age, amount of marbling, meat texture, color and firmness of the muscle. HHF purchases beef from packers that contract with USDA to grade their beef for quality. The beef quality grade that we purchase is USDA Choice, some of the most desirable beef sold in the United States.

HOME DELIVERY

All orders are delivered to you in our own refrigerated or heavy duty insulated coolers, truly giving you more convenience and precious time. Our fleet of trucks are continuously inspected to guarantee the highest sanitary conditions. Reduce the number of trips to the grocery store and the hassle of bagging and sacking groceries. In addition to being delivered to your home, all foods will be professionally packed into your freezer by one of our courteous drivers.

 Do the food prices change or are there any guarantees?

PRICE PROTECTION

HHF guarantees your current menu prices for a period equal to the appliance or service agreement program you have purchased, providing you stay on a comparable menu or less. At your option you may want to take advantage of additional price guarantees and future stronger food discount programs.

 If my freezer breaks down, does HHF cover any loss of food?

FOOD SPOILAGE PROTECTION

Food purchased from HHF which has spoiled due to mechanical failure of your freezer unit and/or a documented outside power failure will be replaced, up to an aggregate value of $5,000. Certain restrictions apply - see your HHF representative for more details.

 Will HHF provide me a loaner freezer if my freezer breaks?

LOANER FREEZER

If your freezer breaks down and cannot be repaired within seven days after inspection by an authorized service center, Husker Home Foods will loan you a freezer until your unit has been repaired and is running at peak performance.

 What happens if I buy a new freezer?

TRANSFER PRIVILEGE

HHF will transfer the freezer service in your agreement to any new freezer. If you purchase a new freezer from any source other than HHF, we will inspect freezer to ensure it meets standards.

After your appliance or service program is fulfilled, you will receive an additional 20% off future orders from the then current retail price schedule.

 What happens if I move to a area that is not delivered by HHF?

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Through our membership in the American Association of Meat Processors we will provide appropriate transfer information. The Association cannot guarantee availability of duplicate service in the locality to which you are moving. In all cases an effort is made to secure service similar to HHF, in or as near as possible to your new location.
